Winter & Bain, a California based elevator manufacturing company, has been supplying elevator cabs, hydraulic packages and related parts to the industry for over 85 years.

With a rich history and a strong reputation on the West Coast, Winter & Bain continues to be a name synonymous with durable and high quality elevator products.

  In 2004, Winter & Bain was purchased and brought under common ownership with Elevator Research & Mfg. Corp. Between the two companies, we can offer a complete hydraulic elevator system of state-of-the-art, on-time products from one reliable source.

Clive Mann - Owner / General Manager

  • obtained Finance Degree in 1987
  • joined Winter & Bain in 2004
  • presently responsible for managing all aspects of day to day operations

John Simon - Project Manager

  • 37 years experience in elevator construction as a Field Mechanic and Supervisor.
  • joined Winter & Bain in 2002
  • extensive knowledge of all aspects of elevator design and installation
